In 1962, the company moved production to Southern California and was later acquired by Ohio native Woody Young, who became the President and Owner in 1982. The 2000s marked significant milestones for the Kit-Cat Klock, including the debut of the Lady Kit-Cat in 2001 and the 75th anniversary celebration in 2007, which featured the world's largest Kit-Cat Klock at 75 inches tall. The company also sponsored the only 100% U.S.-grown commercial float in the 2012 Pasadena Rose Parade, commemorating the clock's 80th anniversary and 50 years of manufacturing in California.
